Leading a Forestry Commission Scotland funded study into the feasibility of a wildlife centre in Argyll.

Leading a community woodland and garden consultation for Scotland's International Artist Residency Centre at Cove Park.

Leading a wood fuel consultation workshop for Lochaber Environmetal Group

Undertaking a pilot geocaching project for Argyll and the Isles Coast and Countryside Trust (ACT) to promote the natural and cultural assets of Mid Argyll.

Undertaking a community access consultation for the Dalriada Project.

Contributing features for the Argyll and the Isles Tourism Co-operative (AITC) websites.

Leading programme of summer walks for Argyll and the Islands Coast and Countryside Trust. (Will is a Paths for All accredited Walk Leader).

Promoting Dunadd Fort and the Dalriada area through BBC Radio 4 Documentary of the Week with poet Murray Lachlan-Young.

Helped two wildlife film makers (Wild Argyll associates) to make a short inspirational film for Heart of Argyll Tourism Alliance.

Setting up and leading Wild Argyll, taking people to explore exceptional landscapes.

Access Audit for Argyll and the Isles Coast and Countryside Trust.

Initiating and co-ordinating a short film of Sir David Attenborough to be filmed in support of Feedback Madagascar’s Tree Mad Project.

Delegate on European Union (Leonardo da Vinci Programme) Nature Exchange to North East Iceland focussing on people, ecology, industry and peripherality.

Supporting Feedback Madagascar’s Tree Mad programme to address the short and the long-term threats to the people, plants and animals of Madagascar.

Providing long term event planning and delivery support for the Crinan Canal Water Festivals which celebrated and show cased the canal and the heritage and community of the wider area.

Contributed to Scottish Natural Heritage Explore for a Day itineraries for Argyll.

Bringing the natural and cultural heritage of Argyll to life in three BBC Radio Scotland Out of Doors programmes.

Founder member of the Heart of Argyll Tourism Alliance, an award winning Destination Marketing Association for Mid Argyll, launched in 2011.

Undertaking diverse ornithological surveys across Argyll for MacArthur Green since 2009.

Advisor to Grounds for Learning programme Fruit-full Schools Scotland developing outdoor learning through establishing heritage orchards in school grounds.

Company Secretary of the Dalriada Project, an award winning Landscape Partnership Scheme primarily funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) since 2010. Finalising aspects of the £3 million programme particularly the Heritage Access Network. Maintaining the legacy and partnerships of the Scheme and administering, maintaining and adapting the integrated interpretation and access elements in particular.

Working with Ardrishaig Community Trust on engagement with primary stakeholders, developing of partnerships and undertaking of research to fund and develop projects.

Undertaking diverse ornithological surveys across Argyll for RPS Group since 2009 including concurrent multiple surveyor SPA surveys, remote winter surveys and operating at night.

Assessor for the David Bellamy Conservation Awards in the highlands since 2009.

Farmers' Market community survey for Scottish Agricultural College (Scotland's Rural University College since 2012) in Argyll .

Ornithological surveys for Glasgow South East Regeneration Agency.

Leading a participatory workshop for the community on the Isle of Kerrera resulting in ranked priorities for development action.

Argyll and Bute Local Biodiversity Action Plan Partnership pilot river catchment community research.

Project Advisor for Learning Through Landscapes over five years to develop outdoor learning mindsets, processes and infrastructure through the Supergrounds Project in a range of schools in Renfrewshire, Glasgow, Inverclyde and Argyll (including the isles of Tiree, Bute and Islay).

Action Research Mentor for SCARF (Scottish Community Action Research Fund) at the Scottish Community Development Centre, Glasgow University.

Working closely with Terrence O’Rourke Ltd. to deliver a programme of multiple and diverse ornithological field surveys in Perthshire.

Will has been a trustee of Feedback Madagascar since 2002.   He is also a director of Kilmartin Museum, and chair of the Heart of Argyll Wildlife Organisation.
